Kindergarten Enrollment

Kindergarten enrollment is for children who will turn 5 years old n the year you are registering. All individuals who are looking to register a child for Kindergarten should begin by proving residency at the District Office located inside McNair Elementary at 304 E. McNair Rd.

After residency has been verified, the school will call to schedule a required Kindergarten screening appointment. In order to start the screening process in May, please make all efforts to prove residency for your child by April 23rd, 2022 as screening appointments will take place in May. Individuals proving residency after May 1 may not be screened until August.

After completing the residency verification and screening, individuals can officially register their child for school when online registration opens during the summer. Note: * Even if you have older children in the district, you will need to prove residency for your Kindergartener.

*If your child is a current Simon Elementary School PreK student, you do not need to prove residency. You also do not need to call for a screening appointment, as your child will be screened during the normal school day.

Overview of Kindergarten Enrollment:

STEP 1: Visit District Office for residency verification (preferably by April 23, 2022)

STEP 2: The school will call you to schedule a Kindergarten screening

STEP 3: Register your child for school online when online registration opens over the summer
