Winnebago Middle School - Assistant Principal
- Winnebago Middle School is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Principal to join our leadership team for the 2025-26 school year. This individual will support the academic, behavioral, and social emotional growth of students while fostering a safe and inclusive school environment. An ideal candidate is a collaborative leader committed to excellence in education and capable of working effectively with teachers, staff, students and families. Qualifications include: Experience in leadership, student discipline, and curriculum implementation, as well as, strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Key Responsibilities:
- Instructional Leadership & Curriculum Support - collaborate with the principal and instructional staff to implement and monitor a rigorous and engaging curriculum.
- Student Discipline & Attendance - lead student behavior management with a focus on restorative practices and positive behavior interventions.
- Student Support - work closely with counselors, social workers, and special education teams to provide academic and emotional support for all students.
- Family & Community Engagement - build strong, trusting relationships with students, parents, and community members.
- Extra-Curricular Support - partner with WHS Athletic/Activities Department for middle school after-school athletics and activities scheduling and supervision duties, as needed.
