Financial Aid

  • Illinois passed a law that all seniors must fill out either FAFSA, alternative form, or opt-out form in order to graduate from an Illinois public school.

Thursday, October 1, 2020 - FAFSA - Free Application for Student Aid. FAFSA Application

The application process opens up. The recommendation is to complete the FAFSA as soon as possible in order to "get in line" for financial assistance. Illinois is a state that gives away funds on a "first come first served" basis until the funds are distributed.

Opt-out waiver form - this form needs to be filled out if you wish to not fill out the FAFSA application. https://www.isbe.net/Documents/FAFSA-Non-Participation-Form.pdf#search=fafsa

Alternative form - Students who are undocumented or do not have a social security number need to fill out this form. https://studentportal.isac.org/alternativeapp
