Winnebago Community Unit School District 323 opens interview process for unfilled School Board seat

The Winnebago Board of Education is accepting applications to fill a vacancy for a two-year unexpired term resulting from the lack of a candidate on the April 4, 2017 ballot. The individual selected will serve on the School Board from the date of appointment to April, 2019.

Bryden Ford and WHS are partnering to raise up to $6,000 for WRAMP on April 29

Bryden Ford invites you to an exciting  Fundraiser on Saturday, April 29 from 8 a.m - 4 p.m to support the Winnebago High School student let WRAMPS Campaign. Bryden Ford and WHS are partnering to help raise $6,000 as part of Ford Motor Company's Drive 4 UR school program.

Jean McNair Elementary School Third Quarter Honor Roll March 2017

Congratulations to the 139 fourth and fifth grade Jean McNair students who made the Honor Roll for the second quarter of the 2016-2017 school year. Honor Roll students have all A's and B's, while High Honor Roll students have all A's for their classes during the third quarter grading period. Way to go!

Jean McNair Elementary School Announces Student of the Week Honors

Congratulations to the following students who have been selected as Student of the Week recipients at Jean McNair Elementary School for the week of April 10.  Students at Jean McNair are recognized weekly for demonstrating McNair PRIDE. 

1st annual Bago Indian Tribe 5K planned for May 6

The Class of 2019 is hosting our First Annual Bago Indian Tribe 5K and we would like you to join us! The race is Saturday, May 6 at 9:00 am. The cost of the race is $35 for runners that have pre-registered and $40 for race day registration.

The end of year is approaching quickly for graduating Seniors at WHS! In an effort to help everyone plan ahead appropriately here is some information that covers most frequently asked questions.

Mark Your Calendars - Kids Club 2017-18 Registration Night May 18

Kids Club will be holding their second registration night for the 2017-18 school year on Thursday, May 18 from 4 - 5:30 p.m. in the Simon Cafeteria. $10 off registration fee. Account must be current to register for next year.

District Wide Art Show and PTO Basket Raffle will be held on Wednesday, May 3 from 5 - 7:30 p.m. in the Winnebago High School Gym. 

Early Dismissal Wedenday, May 3

Winnebago School District students will have early dismissal on Wednesday, May 3. Lunch will be served.  
  • Dorothy Simon Elementary School - dismissal is at 12:40 p.m. 
  • Jean McNair Elementary School, Winnebago Middle School, and Winnebago High School  - dismissal is at 1 p.m. 

WHS Volleyball Camp for all ages

Summer is right around the corner, there are a lot of activities to keep kids busy!  The Winnebago High School Volleyball program will be holding volleyball camps for all ages this summer. June 26 - 28 they will be holding their 6th Annual Volleyball Camp for girls entering grades 3rd - 8th.
