Participation in extra-curricular activities is a privilege, not a right. Students who choose to participate in these activities are subject to all normal school rules, but in addition they are expected to maintain habits and behaviors that reflect favorably upon themselves, the school and the community. As representatives of the district they are expected not to use tobacco, intoxicants, stimulants, controlled or illegal substances or be convicted of an offense other than a routine traffic violation.
