Did you participate in Tractor Day at WHS?

The WHS Key Club will be selling Commemorative Tractor Day T-Shirts for $10 each. The shirt will be white with orange and black lettering. Order forms are available in the WHS Office. For more information email Alison Bright at brighta@winnebagoschools.org. Tractor Day will be held this year on Fri., March 26.

Winnebago’s Girl’s Basketball Coach celebrates 400th Win

Winnebago Girl’s Basketball Coach Judy Krause celebrated her 400th win on Sat., Jan 30 against the Oregon Hawks. She will receive the game ball from her 400th win and a celebration in her honor will take place at the home game Friday, Feb. 5 at 7:00 p.m.

WMS hosts Rec Night

Winnebago Middle School hosts Rec Night on Fri. Jan. 12, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. Parents need to pick-up their child at 9:00 p.m. Students are not allowed to leave before 9:00 p.m. unless a parent is here to pick-up their child. Cost is $3 with ID; $5 without ID. Student must have ID on them upon entering and it must have the student's picture on it.

Winnebago Schools host “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader”

Test your knowledge against elementary math, reading, geography, social studies, and science. Winnebago School District #323 will host its Second Annual “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader” on Tuesday, March 16.

WMS Natural Helpers helping people in Haiti

The Natural Helpers of Winnebago Middle School donated funds to help people in Haiti. Donations from the seventh and eighth grade girl basketball game concessions and donations collected during school raised $350. The money was sent to Doctors Without Borders. Thank you to everyone who donated. 

Freshmen next year? Eighth graders and their families need to attend Freshmen Orientation Feb. 10

Eighth grade parents and families need to prepare and look ahead toward high school. On Feb. 10 eighth graders and their families are invited to attend Winnebago High School’s Freshman Orientation at the high school cafetorium on Wed., Feb. 10 at 6:30 p.m.

Lunch Account Balances on Efunds

Currently, the Winnebago CUSD #323 Technology Dept. is working on syncing data and payments automatically between the LunchBox systems and eFunds for Schools.

Please note that during this process, the lunch balances that are displaying on the front page of your login to eFunds may not be correct.

McNair Elementary donates $400 to Local Media United for Haiti Relief Telethon

Students and staff at Jean McNair Elementary School collected money to donate to the American Red Cross to help those in Haiti affected by the recent earthquake.  Together, the school collected exactly $400 in four days to specifically help children in Haiti who have lost their families.
