Welcome to another fantastic school year! The Dorothy Simon school newsletter/flyer will be published once a month (usually the first Friday of the month) for all students who attend Dorothy Simon Elementary.
Winnebago PTO Christmas Bazaar will be held this Saturday, December 5 from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Dorothy Simon School. Children will shop with a helper and will leave with a gift wrapped and ready to give. Gifts range from $1 - $5.
Winnebago CUSD #323 will conduct preschool screenings for the 2015-16 school year on Friday, January 15, 2016. These children may be eligible to attend the Winnebago School District Preschool for the 2015-16 school year. Appointment times are limited.
Simon Elementary is proud to announce the following teachers who were nominated for Golden Apple recognition for this school year.
The holiday season is closely upon us and there are several families in the Winnebago community that are in need. You can help. The Winnebago Kids Club program is providing an adopt-a-family service for the 2015 holiday season.

The Winnebago PTO invites all parents/guardians and teachers of students in Early Childhood to fifth grade to attend monthly meetings. The first meeting is in September. Agendas for meetings are sent home with students in advance and will note the meeting location and time.

Volunteers connect our community with our schools, and there are so many opportunities to get involved. Along with attending PTO meetings, being on a sub-committee for an event, or working on a fundraiser, there are other volunteer opportunities that may fit into your schedule.
