Culvers Share Night September 15 & 16

Winnebago staff will be hosting a Culver's Share Night on Monday, September 15  and Tuesday, September 16   to raise money for PBIS.  Both events are from 5 - 7 p.m. 


Fourth Annual Walk for Ben: Steps for a Cure scheduled for September 13 at WHS Athletic Stadium

The BenInspired Foundation announces the Fourth Annual Walk for Ben: Steps for a Cure at WHS Athletic stadium from 4 - 7 pm on Saturday, September 13. This event is sponsored in part by German American State Bank and is being held in conjunction with Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and is close to Ben’s

The Simon School Days Newsletter - Is Now Active

Welcome to another fantastic school year! The Dorothy Simon school newsletter/flyer will be published once a month (usually the first Friday of the month) for all students who attend Dorothy Simon Elementary. 

Dorothy Simon Welcome Back and Open House September 11

Dorothy Simon will celebrate the beginning of the school year with their annual PTO Welcome Back Picnic on Thursday, September 11. Bring the family, along with lawn chairs and blankets for dinner on the playground from 5 - 6 p.m. with the building open from 6 - 7:30 p.m. to meet the teachers.

Winnebago Middle School FAST Meeting September 8

FAST meetings offer a chance for parents/guardians to stay updated on WMS activities, help plan some events and meet with the Middle School Administration. FAST meetings last for about an hour usually right after the PTO meetings.

WMS offers free text message option for parents

Winnebago Middle School is offering a free option to send text messages with school information to WMS parents. However, it will require WMS to know parents cell phone number and their carrier. If you are interested in receiving text messages with reminders for school pictures, report cards, etc., please let the WMS office know 815.335.2364 and share your information with them.

Winnebago Middle School held it's annual Career on Wheels event last week. Businesses represented included: Rock River Environmental Services, Lonnie's Carpet Max, Winnebago Police Department, WREX Morning News reporters and Winnebago Fire & EMTs.

WHS National Honor Society Induction

WHS NHS Induction

The Winnebago Chapter of the National Honor Society held its annual induction ceremony at WHS on Sunday, April 13th. The National Honor Society is a national organization with local chapters in most high schools and is sponsored by the National Association of Secondary School Principals.
