Dorothy Simon Fall Picture Day is September 13

Fall pictures are scheduled for Simon Elementary for Tuesday, September 13. More information will be sent home after Labor Day. 

Jean McNair Food Allergy Information

Food allergies are a growing concern in schools across America. Millions of children - children who are perfectly healthy and normal in every other way – must watch every single bite they eat, or risk suffering a severe or even life threatening reaction. In fact, food allergies claim over 200 lives and are responsible for over 30,000 emergency room visits each year.

Jean McNair Drop off and Pick Up 2016-17 Procedures

Beginning tomorrow (Thursday), if you are bringing your child to school you may drop them off at either the front OR back doors and students SHOULD NOT enter the building before 7:30am.  For parents who have to be to work earlier than 7:30, just a reminder that Kids Club services are available at Simon Elementary School and the students are bussed right to McNair from Simon.

WMS Guidance holding Organization Boot Camp

Having basic supplies and staying organized are essential parts of a student's success at school.  The Guidance Department is holding an Organization Boot Camp to help students learn organization skills and get their homework completed and turned in.  We need your help! 

WMS FAST Meeting September 12

FAST meetings offer a chance for parents/guardians to stay updated on WMS activities, help plan some events and meet with the Middle School Administration. Our meetings last for about an hour usually right after the PTO meetings.  

WMS Fall Pictures August 30

Fall pictures are scheduled for Tuesday, August 30.  Please look for package information and envelopes to come home with students on Wednesday, August 24.  Students will need to have their money for pictures on August 30 at the time that their picture is taken.   

WMS Fall Sports Pictures September 14

Fall sports pictures for Volleyball will be taken on Wednesday, September 14 at 3:05 p.m.  Forms will be sent home with athletes.  Payment is due at the time the pictures are taken. Cross Country athletes will have their pictures taken with the HS Cross Country teams.

Jean McNair Fall Picture Day will be held on Wednesday, September 14 starting at 8 a.m. More information to follow in your student's backpack.

Jean McNair students and parents are invited to the Annual Back to School Cook Out and Open House on Thursday,September 1.

Important Reminder for Parent Drop Off at Simon Elementary

Simon Parent Drop Off in the Morning (7:35-8:05) - Car Riders

Parents please keep to these 3 items for your child's safety
while dropping off in the morning.

1. Keep a single line of traffic when dropping your child off in
the morning.

2. Have your child exit the car on the passenger side of the
vehicle.

Kids Club Services Start Wednesday, August 24

Kids Club sessions will start on Wednesday, August 24 for before and after-school services. Please go to the Kids Club information page for payment information and hours. 

WHS Commemorative Tree Park Planting set for Sept 24: Order Form Info

A planting date has been set for September 24, 2016 for the Winnebago High School Commemorative Tree Park. Please see the attached flier and order form to submit to the WHS Athletic Office prior to the planting date.
