Mail-in registration packets still being accepted

Winnebago CUSD #323 deadline for mail-in registration for the 2010-11 school year was July 19, 2010. There is a late charge of $25 for payments received after July 19. Registration forms and payments can still be mailed or returned to the locked drop box located outside Jean McNair Elementary School. Please include the $25 late fee in your registration fee.

New Family and Student Registration August 11

Registration for new students and families will be held in each building office on Wed., Aug. 11 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. If you are unable to register your children for next school year at the new student registration, please contact the school office to make an appointment to register.

Winnebago Middle School learns about careers

On Mon., May 24, Winnebago Middle School students were treated to the annual Career on Wheels. People who have careers that are tied to a car or vehicle rather than an office of factory participated. They brought their truck, snowplow, car, or van, and gave our students an idea of what their career was like.

"Full" School Physical Information

The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) requires Illinois students to receive a "full" physical exam within one year of entering any pre-Kindergarten/Early Childhood program, Kindergarten, sixth and ninth grades.

Winnebago CUDS #323 partners in national pre-engineering program

Students at Winnebago CUSD #323 have the opportunity to participate in Project Lead The Way, a national pre-enginnering program. Project Lead the Way is about teaching and learning. It provides a hands-on, project and problem-based approach, which adds detail and exactness to the traditional technical programs and significance to traditional academics.

Winnebago Middle School posts Accelerated Reading Information

The Accelerated Reader program combines the best children's literature with intuitive software that tests reading comprehension. The software also manages all student records and tracks reading performance. It is based a foundation of self-paced, individualized reading.

WMS Attendance

At 7:50 a.m. all doors to the Middle school will be locked. Entrance after 7:50 a.m. will only be admitted through the office.
