Save the Date! The WHS and WMS Libraries are hosting their annual Barnes & Noble Bookfair on Sunday, December 7 from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. at the Cherryvale Mall.
WMS Student Council and WHS National Honor Society members will be working the bookfair at the welcome table, holiday crafts with kids and free gift wrap.
Events during the bookfair are as follows:
Winnebago CUSD #323 students and staff will not be in attendance November 26 - 28 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. All schools and offices will be closed.
Classes and offices will resume on Monday, December 1.
Winnebago Middle School's Annual Christmas Tea will be held on Monday, December 15 from 7:50 a.m. - 2:45 p.m. in the WMS school's Learning Center. All students will have the opportunity to participate in this holiday event during their PE class period.
Online registration for girl's basketball is now open and can be reached at https://winnebago.8to18.com/accounts/login. If this is your child's third sport for the 2014-15 school year, please contact the athletic department to receive a discount code for the registration.
Winnebago Middle School Tutor Club meets Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays after school until 4 p.m. Students may get assistance with homework or work on math facts, reading, or organizational skills. A healthy snack is provided. Donations would be appreciated. Any questions, please contact Mrs. Alexander at 815.

The holiday season is closely upon us and there are several families in the Winnebago community that are in need. You can help! The Winnebago Kids Club program is providing an adopt-a-family service for the 2014 holiday season.
Winnebago Middle School eighth graders visited a half size traveling replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on September 12. It was set up in a field adjacent to the Field of Honor in Loves Park.
Winnebago Middle School staff took part in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge on their first day of school.
