Early Dismissal April 17 and No School April 18 and 21

CUSD #323 will have Early Dismissal on Thursday, April 17 for School Improvement Day. No School for staff and students on Friday, April 18 and Monday, April 21. Classes will resume on Tuesday, April 22. All district offices will be closed.

The Illinois 5Essentials Survey is Now Open

Beginning March 17, teachers, parents and students across Illinois will have an opportunity to participate in the Illinois 5Essentials Survey: Organizing Schools for Improvement. This survey was designed to generate a detailed picture of the inner workings of your child’s school.

Winnebago Middle School's 6th Annual sixth-grade science fair May 15

Winnebago Middle School will host the sixth grade Science Fair in the Winnebago Middle School gym on May 15. The Science Fair will be open for WMS students and staff during the entire school day, and open to the public from 5 - 6 p.m. that night, May 15.

The Annual PTO Basket Raffle and Art Show will be held on Thursday, April 24 in the Winnebago High School Gym from 5 - 7:30.

Each year Winnebago students and staff practice a variety of safety drills to prepare for emergencies. They practice bus and building evacuations, shelter in place for inclement weather, and lock down drills when dangerous situations exist inside or outside the buildings.

Winnebago CUSD #323 Awarded Wellness Award

Gallagher Benefit Services has announced that Winnebago CUSD #323 is the winner of the “INITIATIVE AWARD” for the work of the Vital W’s, the district wellness team.  The plaque and monetary award, which will be used for future incentives, were received by David Zumdahl, Business Manager for the District.  

WMS PE Classes take advantage of the warm weather to Snow Shoe

At 7:50 a.m. all doors to the Middle school will be locked. Entrance after 7:50 a.m. will only be admitted through the office.
