No School November 26-28

Winnebago CUSD #323 students and staff will not be in attendance November 26 - 28 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. All schools and offices will be closed.

Classes and offices will resume on Monday, December 1.

B&N Bookfair Dec. 7 for WMS and WHS Libraries

Save the Date! The WHS and WMS Libraries are hosting their annual Barnes & Noble Bookfair on Sunday, December 7 from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. at the Cherryvale Mall. 

WMS Student Council and WHS National Honor Society members will be working the bookfair at the welcome table, holiday crafts with kids and free gift wrap.

WMS Tutor Club

Winnebago Middle School Tutor Club meets Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays after school until 4 p.m. Students may get assistance with homework or work on math facts, reading, or organizational skills. A healthy snack is provided. Donations would be appreciated. Any questions, please contact Mrs. Alexander at 815.

WMS RecNight

Winnebago Middle School will be holding their first Rec Night for the school year on Friday, November 21 from 7 -  9 p.m. The doors will open at 6:50 p.m. Students should have rides here by 9 p.m. when Rec Night ends. If a student leaves school during Rec Night, they will not be allowed back in.

WMS Muffins with Mom

To support Families and Schools Together (FAST), Winnebago Middle School students and their moms (or other significant female relative) are invited for muffins and coffee/juice before school.  It is a wonderful way to start the day. The annual event will be held on Wednesday, November 12 from 7:00 to 7:45 a.m. in the Winnebago Middle School Cafeteria.

Golden Apple Nominee

Congratulations to our very own Mrs. Tiffany Weber in her nomination for the Golden Apple Teacher Award.  She teaches Science class to our 7th grade students and our 8th grade students.  We wish you luck!!!

Winnebago Kid's Club Adopt-a-Family 2014

The holiday season is closely upon us and there are several families in the Winnebago community that are in need. You can help! The Winnebago Kids Club program is providing an adopt-a-family service for the 2014 holiday season.

Winnebago Middle School eighth graders visited a half size traveling replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on September 12.  It was set up in a field adjacent to the Field of Honor in Loves Park.

Changes of Phone Numbers or Addresses

Winnebago parents please make sure you have updated the school office if you have changed your home or cell phone numbers since the beginning of the school year.

WMS Attendance

At 7:50 a.m. all doors to the Middle school will be locked. Entrance after 7:50 a.m. will only be admitted through the office.
