The National Honor Society is a national organization with local chapters in most high schools and is sponsored by the National Association of Secondary School Principals.

The Winnebago High School Chapter of the National Honor Society officially began the NHS Selection Process on February 5. Students that were identified as being academically eligible for consideration for membership in the National Honor Society received an official letter on February 5.
Last July, Scott Rippetoe, coach of Texas Torque Robotics Team, issued a half-joking invitation to Scott Hill, coach of Winnovation Robotics Team, to compete at their off-season competition in Houston on November 8. Little did anyone know that quick note would turn into an amazing trip for 19 high school students.
National Honor Society requires that all local chapters bylaws be posted. The following attachment is for the Winnebago Chapter of the National Honor Society. The Winnebago Chapter Advisor of National Honor Society is Mrs. Thompson.
