Pesticide Application

By state law schools are required to notify parents and guardians of students and school employees when pesticides will be applied in district school buildings. If parents have questions, they may contact the district office. Parents or staff wishing to be informed when pesticides will be applied should contact the District Office at 815.335.2456.

Our pest control company is POW, Inc. They will apply pesticide in food service areas and elsewhere as needed on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month in all district schools. The application date for the 2011-2012 fiscal year are: July 12 & 26, August 15 & 29, September 13 & 27, October 11 & 25, November 8 & 22, December 13 & 27, January 10 & 24, 2012, February 14 & 28, 2012, March 13 & 27, 2012, April 10 & 24, 2012, May 8 & 22, 2012, June 12 & 26, 2012.
