Pesticide Application

By state law schools are required to notify parents and guardians of students and school employees when pesticides will be applied in district school buildings. If parents have questions, they may contact the district office. Parents or staff wishing to be informed when pesticides will be applied should contact Sue Jansen at the District Office at 815.335.2456 x 135. Our pest control company is POW, Inc. They will apply pesticide in food service areas and elsewhere as needed on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month in all district schools. The application date for the 2008-2009 fiscal year are: July 15 & 29, August 12 & 19, September 9 & 23, October 14 & 28, November 11 & 25, December 9 & 23, January 13 & 27, February 10 & 24, March 10 & 24, April 14 & 28, May 12 & 28, June 9 & 23.
