Registering to Vote
In cooperation with Winnebago County Clerk, residents of District #323 will now be able to register to vote at the District Office or in the office of any of the District’s schools. If you are new to the District or if you have moved since you last registered to vote, you can register at the school nearest you.

Registering for School
Registration for new students and families will be held in each building office on Wednesday June 25 from 2:00 - 7:00pm and Wednesday, July 30 from 2:00 - 7:00 pm. If you are unable to register your children for next school year during one of these times, please contact the school office to make an appointment to register for school.

School offices will be open regular office hours (8am to 3pm) all other days after August 5. If you would like to pick up a pre-registration packet, please stop by the District Office located in the McNair Elementary building to pick one up.  Office hours are Monday-Thursday, 7am-4:30pm and Friday, 7am to 11am. Individual school offices will be closing for the summer on June 6 and will re-open on August 5.

We would like to plan ahead for fall class sizes.  If you have moved to the district (or know for sure you will be moving to the district) prior to June 11, please call or email the school office where your child will be attending to pre-register for next school year. This will allow us to track class sizes for the fall as well as send you all information via the mail-in registration process. School contact information is available on individual school pages.
If you would like to pick up a pre-registration information packet, please contact our District Office (815-335-2456) for a registration packet and plan to register in individual buildings on either June 25 2008 or July 30, 2008.

Items you will need to register your child for classes at Winnebago Schools
  • Birth Certificate
  • Residency Declaration (in PDF format) and supporting documents
  • Proof of guardianship (if not matching birth certificate)
  • Completed physical forms for students entering Preschool, Kindergarten, 5th, or 9th grade
  • Copy of previous report card (if available)
