Question: Do I have to pay a convenience fee if I charge school supplies to my debit card?
Answer: Your debit card charges actually go thru the credit card system, so you would be charged a convenience even though you are paying directly from your checking account. You will want to use our ACH debit system instead to avoid paying the extra convenience fee.
Question: Why am I being asked to pay a convenience fee for a credit card transaction but not for a direct debit to my checking account?
Answer: When processing credit cards, business pay a 2-3% processing fee to the credit card company. For the convenience of paying by credit card, we are simply passing those fees along to you as convenience fees in order to help cut our costs to the district.
Question: Can I pay for registration fees, school lunches, or even sweatshirt sales on the school’s website?
Answer: Yes – all of the above!
Question: If I have overpaid fees for some reason, can I receive a credit to my account electronically through this system?
Answer: The company is working on that functionality for the future, but for now if you are due a refund of fees (we only refund amounts over $7) we will cut a check to you.
Question: Can I set up an automatic payment for something like my child’s lunch account?
Answer: Yes. After setting up a schedule for payments on our website, you will be notified via email for each transaction as a warning that you have scheduled that payment. If you need to stop the schedule payment, you must do so before midnight that same day.
Question: Will this new system keep track of all payments that I have made to the school district for the entire year and for all of my children?
Answer: Yes and Yes!
Question: Can I pay for all of my children’s lunches, registration fees, or other items all at the same time on the same payment?
Answer: Yes – and the system will track what amount and items you have paid for for each child.
Question: Is this online payment system secure?
Answer: Yes
