We are now using the LunchBox system in all of our cafeterias with the exception of the high school. We will roll out LunchBox at the High School on Wednesday, November 22. What is LunchBox? LunchBox is an electronic point of sale system that will enable us to better track of lunch sales for students as well as enable parents to see what their child's lunch balance is as well as request a report on any activity on that account. On that report is a list of deposits as well as what the student has charged each day in the cafeteria.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) - PDF format High School LunchBox Letter - PDF Sample Parent Report - PDF Our goal is to create a system that facilitates a quicker lunch line process for all students and staff as well as provide specific reporting for parents and the school. To make this happen, we are encouraging cashless transactions in all lunch lines. Students will be asked to make their lunch deposits in the morning in the school cafeteria and will not be allowed to use another child's account or a purchase. To pay for school lunch, you may deposit funds via cash, check, or online using the eFunds system. Click here for more information on eFunds. For questions regarding LunchBox, feedback, account balances, or to request a report, please send an email to lunchbox@winnebagoschools.org or contact Karen Wogomon at McNair Elementary 815-335-1607 ext 186.
