Winnebago School District - Elementary and Secondary Paraprofessionals - Life Skills/Instructional Classrooms

There are multiple openings for the 2015-16 school year for partl-time Paraprofessionals in LifeSkills/Instructional classrooms, which will be located at McNair Elementary School and Winnebago High School.  The hours will likely be 6.5 hours per day.  These positions will provide assistance to teachers and other school service personnel in the delivery of quality education and support services to students.  Examples of support services in educational settings include, but are not limited to:  life skills, instructional classroom, emotional and behavioral support, language and learning delay support, vision, hearing, and motor impairment assistance and support.  Applicants must meet the current requirements for Illinois Paraprofessional License.  These positions will be posted until filled.  To apply, please submit a letter of interest, application, and resume to Human Resources, Winnebago School District Office, 304 East McNair Road, Winnebago IL 61108. Winnebago High School - Special Education Teacher

Winnebago High School has an opening for a Special Education Teacher for the 2015-16 school year. The position involves co-teaching in the general education classroom, case management and potentially teaching self-contained classes in math and/or English. An valid Illinois teaching license with a Learning Behavior Specialist endorsement is required. The Maintenance Department is looking for Substitute Custodians for day and/or evening shifts as needed.
