State Required Exams:

The Illinois Standards Achievement Test (ISAT) is administered to students in grades 3-8 each the spring. The test is designed to measure student achievement relative to the Illinois Learning Standards.  

The Prairie State Achievement Examination (PSAE) is administered to students in grade 11 in the spring.  It includes 2 days of testing.  Day one is an ACT Plus Writing exam.  This includes four multiple-choice tests plus a writing section.  This test is designed to assess college readiness.  Day two is the WorkKeys exam and the Science Assessment.  These tests are designed to assess applied mathematics and reading knowledge, as well as basic science understanding.
