Curriculum Task Force Creates Action Steps
The district level curriculum task force was designed to assist in the planning and preparation of district level curriculum goals and student learning outcomes.
Assessment Laws
On January 8, 2002, No Child Left Behind was signed into law. The purpose of the law is to ensure that each child in America, regardless of ethnicity, income, or background, achieve higher standards.
State Required Exams:
The ISAT
The Illinois Standards Achievement Test (ISAT) is administered to students in grades 3-8 each the spring. The test is designed to measure student achievement relative to the Illinois Learning Standards.
Winnebago Math Historical Analysis
In 2009, 86.5% of Winnebago students were proficient on their state test (ISAT or PSAE) in Mathematics. Winnebago students, district wide, score high in the data, statistics and probability strand. District wide, students have struggled with the number sense strand.
