PTO PURPOSE: To provide opportunities which enhance the growth of each child and bring about a closer relationship between home and school. Through fundraising and family activities, we promote positive school/community relationships that enhance our children’s educational environment.
We welcome all parents and students to Dorothy Simon's Annual Back to School Cook Out and Open House on Thursday, September 8.
A Big Thank You to the Winnebago Lion's Club and the Winnebago PTO for being Co-sponsor for the Jean McNair DARE program. DARE is Drug Abuse Resistance Education for Jean McNair 5th Grade students. CUSD #323 is one of only two schools in Northern Illinois that are lucky enough to still have this program up and running.
On Tuesday, July 23 the Winnebago PTO dedicated the upgraded playground at McNair Elementary back to CUSD #323 as the finishing touches are being taken care of. The PTO used funds that they have been saving for a great project like the playground.
