Annual FEE Golf Scramble June 22 at Prarie View Golf Club

The Winnebago Foundation for Educational Excellence (F.E.E.) Invitational Annual Scramble Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, June 22 at Prairie View Golf Club, Byron, Il.

This Tournament is a special event to benefit the foundation’s mission of building an endowment fund of $1,000,000 by the year 2015. The ultimate benefactor of the Foundation is Winnebago Community Unit School District #323. Since the Foundation’s formation in 1991, approximately $650,000 has been added to the endowment fund and approximately $30,000 per year has been awarded in grants for equipment, materials, software and educational programs for the district schools.

Days Events:

  • 11:00 a.m. - Registration/Check In Lunch & Refreshments
  • 12:30 p.m. - Shotgun Start
  • 5:30 p.m. - Cocktails, Dinner, and Awards held at the Prairie View Pavilion
  • 6:45 p.m. - World Famous Foundation Auction

Proceeds will benefit Winnebago Community Unit School District #323

Registration ends June 12. Sponsorships are also needed to make the event successful.  Sponsorship deadline
is Saturday, June 9.  See below for more details.

FEE- Foundation for Educational Excellence is dedicated to helping District #323

The  Foundation for Educational Excellence is an independent, not for profit corporation dedicated to providing "something extra" for the schools and children of Community School Distrcit #323.

Our goal is to provide a long term, self sustaining endowment fund to enhance existing programs and to support special programs, projects, training, activities and services which have not or cannot be funded through existing public school revenue sources. The Foundation is dedicated to helping School District #323 excel and meet the challenges of the future.

 FEE's established goals are  to

  1. Insure that all children in District #323 are provided with the finest possible learning opportunities.
  2. Encourage students to strive for the highest possible level of academic achievement.
  3. Stimulate the growth and development of new educational programs.
  4. Promote excellence in classroom education.
  5. Enhance and enrich programs provided by the district. 
  6. Strengthen the partnership between the Community and the school district.
