Winnebago CUSD #323 is proud to be the center of the Winnebago community. Throughout the history of our school district, the community has forged a strong relationship with our schools and its activities. Our students and staff our grateful for the support.
Our buildings are truly part of the community and we have programs that welcome residents to use the facilities and attend our programs.
Volunteering is also a partnership between Winnebago CUSD #323 and our residents. For information on volunteering contact any of our education centers.
Culver’s of Winnebago Share Night, Tuesday, May 17, from 5-7 p.m. Please stop by for dinner and/or dessert. A portion of the proceeds from this evening will go towards PBIS efforts at all four district schools.
Jean McNair fifth graders participated in the Annual DARE Graduation ceremony on January 20. Students completed a 10 weeks of the DARE Program. Retired FBI Agent and State Representative Jim Sacia spoke at the event. Chloe W. was the 2016 Chief George Saladino memorial recipient.
A Big Thank You to the Winnebago Lion's Club and the Winnebago PTO for being Co-sponsor for the Jean McNair DARE program. DARE is Drug Abuse Resistance Education for Jean McNair 5th Grade students. CUSD #323 is one of only two schools in Northern Illinois that are lucky enough to still have this program up and running.
On Tuesday, July 23 the Winnebago PTO dedicated the upgraded playground at McNair Elementary back to CUSD #323 as the finishing touches are being taken care of. The PTO used funds that they have been saving for a great project like the playground.
Family and Adult Activity passes are available to purchase in the Winnebago High School Office.

The Winnebago PTO invites all parents/guardians and teachers of students in Early Childhood to fifth grade to attend monthly meetings. The first meeting is in September. Agendas for meetings are sent home with students in advance and will note the meeting location and time.
